Digging Deeper:

  • Why was it necessary for Joshua to recount and review God’s grace-filled history of Israel?
  • Why are they “not able to serve the Lord” (v19)?  Do you think it is true for us today?  If so, what should we do?
  • To what idols are you prone to wander?  What steps can you take to forsake the idols and totally commit to the Lord?
